Only you can decide how severe your allergies are and I cannot make that decision for you. What I will mention are all the precautions I take when making my crochet: I always wash my hands before starting to crochet. I change my clothes frequently, especially if I notice Penny's fur is all over me. I regularly dust, disinfect, and lint-roll my working station. I store my yarn and work on my crochet away from Penny. After I complete a project, I handpick every piece of cat hair I find. Of course, this is neither foolproof nor a guarantee that there will be absolutely no cat hair or pet dander. I vacuum-seal all completed items to prevent contact with dust, insects, dander, or anything else that could negatively impact my work. If you do decide to purchase something from the shop and are allergic to cats and/or pet dander, I highly recommend washing it before using it to help mitigate any issues with your allergies. I would wash each piece myself before shipment, but it would be impossible to find a one-size-fits-all washing detergent solution for everyone's skin tolerances and preferences. Don't pick something too hard or you might get discouraged when making it! 4. Buy the exact yarn and crochet hook used in the pattern. 5. Start crocheting!
